University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN cut off mark for the 2021/2022 academic session admission exercise is out.
The management of UNN have released the approved cut off marks for this year’s admission exercise. If you choose UNN as first choice in JAMB then it is important you check admission cut off marks.
As stated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, candidates must meet all admission eligibility which are:
- Choose the school as first choice in JAMB
- Write JAMB and meet the required minimum mark
- Have relevant O-level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB) credit passes which must include English language and mathematics in most cases
- Upload O-level results on JAMB caps portal
- Be at least 16 years during the time of admission

UNN Cut Off Mark for JAMB 2021/2022
JAMB have fixed cut off mark for all Nigerian universities. For this year’s admission, schools will accept students who scored at least 180 in the unified tertiary matriculation examination, UTME. Therefore, you are eligible to apply for UNN post utme if your score is up to 180.
UNN Departmental Cut Off Marks
Apart from JAMB cut off mark, UNN also set cut off marks for their list of courses offered. Cut off marks can not be the same for all departments because some departments are highly competitive, this means that higher courses like law, medicine and surgery, nursing, accounting, engineering etc will require high jamb and post utme cut off marks. For such department, you need at least 200 marks for admission.
While departments like, education, physics etc will accept students with lower marks. For such department, you need a minimum of 180 marks for admission.
Although, JAMB stated that students who scored at least 180 marks is eligible for admission in any Nigerian university.
